FSBUS-PCB´s are 60% finished. The beamer is installed. The first flight with let say 50% of the equipment was 26Dec 2006.

Picture story 2006

The simulator in an outside view. The door can be opened from the knob on the center pedestral or from outside with a numeric password. The P/N number (I don´t know, what this number is) is copied from a flight in a Lufthansa Airbus.
This panel is one of the most complicate parts. I built it 3 times, but now I have the correct dimensions and angles for my flightdeck.
The view from the open door
Several lightings are installed. The dome lights, baklights in overhead and glareshield, center pedestral flood light (out), main panel flood light (out), side panel lights and cart holder reading light (out).
Development and prototype of a 64 chanal output card for the new fsbus version. I need 5 of them.
Construction of all the top parts for every switch on the light panel. Hopefully close to the typical Airbus design.
The third generation of the Push Pulls. Better functionality and easier to build! But still not the end of the development.
An easy to build double rotary for the radio frequencies and the TCAS panel
The master thesis. Stick and Tiller via USB
Details, like this footrest are important parts for the final impression of the sim
30 PCB´s for the FSBUS system are used in the SIM. The development of the new 64 chanel OUT board took a lot of time.
The lighting concept for the entire flightdeck is now finished.
View from center pedestal to the forward light panel.
26Dec 2006. The first flight in the simulator. From Kokkola in Finnland to Copenhagen in Danmark. And then HongKong Kai Tak, my favorite Airport.
Checkerboard approach without instruments. I used only the autothrottle to keep the speed constant. Never do this in reality.
